CFA Institute recommend that Charterholders complete a minimum of 20 hours of CE credit activities annually, with a minimum of two hours in the topics of standards, ethics, and regulations (SER).

CFA Society New Zealand offers many opportunities for CPD.  These include, workshops, seminars, conferences and presentations.

A one hour workshop will provide the attendee with one CPD credit.

To receive a CPD credit

  • Attendees must ensure their attendance at the event is noted by CFA Society New Zealand staff, usually by collecting your name badge
  • In most instances a CPD certificate will be emailed to you automatically after the event, or it can be requested from info@cfasociety.org.nz

From August 2019 all CFA Society New Zealand members will have free access to LinkedIn Learning.   This is to enable members to build professional skills and expand their knowledge in a flexible, convenient way.

Material in the CFA Society NZ library shows the CPD credits available in the title.  These, and other activities on LinkedIn Learning, can be used for CE credits, depending on the criteria of the qualification.
