Charles Hyde
Charles is a Senior Investment Strategist in the Asset Allocation team at the New Zealand Superannuation Fund. Key areas of focus include the determination of cost of capital for new investments and the equity factors strategy. Prior to joining the NZSF he held the roles of Head of Quantitative Research at MIR Investment Management, a quantitative equity manager, and Head of Equities Research at Commonwealth Bank of Australia.
Charles began his career as an academic in the Economics Department at the University of Melbourne and then the Department of Economics at the University of British Columbia. Charles has a PhD from U.C. Berkeley and has published widely in academic journals on equity factor investing, transfer pricing, auctions, bargaining theory and law & economics.
